About The Position

The Learning Experience (TLE) at Banning Lewis Ranch is a Nationally Accredited and Colorado Shines Level 4 early childhood program committed to providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners. Our Infant Teachers play a critical role in nurturing children ages 6 weeks to 18 months in a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment. We offer a supportive, professional workplace where teachers are valued, developed, and empowered to grow in their careers.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old and meet one of the following:
  • Hold a certificate in Infant & Toddler care from a regionally accredited college or university with at least 30 semester hours in infant/toddler development and care in a group setting, OR
  • Hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and have completed the Department-approved Expanding Quality in Infant and Toddler Development course, OR
  • Hold a Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential (ECP) Version 3.0 Level II or higher , OR
  • Have completed one 3-credit college course in infant/toddler development, OR
  • Have completed the Department-approved Expanding Quality in Infant and Toddler Development training and have 12 months of verifiable full-day experience working with infants and/or toddlers
  • All candidates must be able to meet Colorado childcare licensing background check and training requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage your classroom, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor to assistant and less experienced teachers
  • Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P.® Curriculum in a way that meets the individual needs of each child
  • Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, and coworkers
  • Communicate regularly with parents using our mobile app and in-person conversations
  • Support center goals related to enrollment, engagement, and family satisfaction
  • Maintain classroom standards related to health, safety, and licensing compliance
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and passion for early childhood education
  • Physically able to move, lift, and assist children (up to approximately 40 lbs)
