Requirements

  • Have a genuine passion for the care and development of infants?
  • Have one year of professional teaching or childcare experience (preferred) or six months of professional childcare experience (required)?
  • Have an associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred), or a High School Diploma/GED (required)?
  • Meet applicable state licensing requirements for infant care?
  • There are applicable state licensing requirements for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment for infants.
  • Provide consistent care routines including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules while ensuring each child’s individual needs are met.
  • Observe, document, and support infants’ social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families and colleagues to create a collaborative and supportive classroom environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s daily activities, milestones, and achievements through mobile apps and in-person conversations.
