About The Position

As an Infant Teacher at the Primrose School of Centennial, you’ll help care for little ones who range in age from six weeks to one year old. They are eager to learn about and explore their world, and through singing, dancing, and storytelling, you’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical development of each child. Teaching is more than a job. It’s an opportunity to foster curiosity, creativity and compassion in children—all while helping them develop a lifelong love of learning.

Requirements

• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants aged six weeks to one year old.
• Provide a safe and loving environment for children.
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Build genuine relationships with each child.
• Prepare materials for learning activities and active play.
• Implement lesson plans from the Balanced Learning® curriculum with your co-teacher.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages exploration and decision-making.
