About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Room Teacher to join our team at Maimonides Jewish Day School. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with infants and will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. This part-time role involves working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 1 pm, with opportunities for additional hours.

Requirements

• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• One year of experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is required.
• Knowledge of infant care is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and other educators.
• A commitment to educating young children and supporting their growth in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Provide individualized attention to students, ensuring their unique needs are met.
