The Infant Teacher will be responsible for providing a nurturing and safe setting for infants. This position will implement age-appropriate programs and activities, provide guidance to support the physical, social and emotional development of the children, and create a positive learning environment. Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of child development and curriculum development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
  • Able to work collaboratively with a team
  • Previous experience working with infants or toddlers

Responsibilities

  • Provide an environment that is safe, positive, nurturing, and respectful of the children
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
  • Observe and assess the development of the children
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences
  • Maintain proper records, including documenting observations and milestones
  • Ensure all safety regulations are followed
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom
  • Model appropriate behaviors for children
  • Work with a team of teachers to ensure a cohesive and quality learning environment
