Requirements

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and additional center requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Hold a current early childhood professional credential level II or higher in version 3.0, as determined by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood.
• Have a minimum of nine (9) months (1,365 hours) of verifiable experience in the care and supervision of infants and/or toddlers.
• Has completed one (1) three (3) semester credit hour course in infant/toddler development or has completed the Department-approved expanding quality in infant and toddler care training course.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Be an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center's success.
