About The Position

SOUTHLAKE, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY): A warm, welcoming family is seeking an experienced FULL-TIME NANNY to care for their healthy, calm 7-week-old infant in a long-term, live-out role beginning February 1, 2026. This position is ideal for a kind, reliable caregiver with strong infant experience who genuinely enjoys supporting a newborn’s early development and partnering closely with parents during this special stage. The family also has three teenagers (ages 13, 15, and 16) in the home; however, care will be solely focused on the infant. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Wednesday from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, averaging approximately 43 hours per week, with 40 hours guaranteed. Fridays and weekends are not required. Mom is a surgeon and may occasionally be done earlier than scheduled, offering some flexibility on end times. The baby’s routine includes early morning feedings, daytime naps, walks, bottle feeding and diaper changes every 2–3 hours, and an evening bath and bedtime around 8:00 PM. The nanny will be responsible for all infant-related care, including feeding, changing, engaging in age-appropriate play, maintaining a calm and nurturing routine, and supporting the baby’s daily rhythm. Additional responsibilities include light child-related household tasks such as preparing bottles, cleaning and sterilizing bottles, tidying infant areas, and keeping the baby’s spaces organized. The family lives in a pleasant neighborhood with street parking and a park one block away. A personal vehicle is required for commuting to and from the home, though driving during the workday is not anticipated. The household includes one very docile cat. The ideal candidate is experienced with infants, nurturing, attentive, dependable, and communicative. This family is seeking someone who truly cares about their daughter, brings warmth and consistency to each day, and is confident supporting a newborn’s needs. Candidates must be up to date on standard vaccinations, including flu and COVID. The family is offering $30+/hour, paid via payroll, along with paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick days, and a potential health insurance stipend for the right candidate.

  • BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5+ YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
  • UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
  • THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
