About The Position

A loving family of three living on the Upper West Side is seeking a temporary nanny to care for their 5-month-old daughter. The role will start May 25th and will last 9 weeks. The position will be Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 6:30pm.

Requirements

• Significant experience caring for infants, particularly within the first year of life
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Able to provide strong references and pass a background check
• Able to commit to a temporary role starting May 25th for 9 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for an infant
• Act as a trusted partner to the parents on routines, development, and daily observations
• Support age-appropriate developmental activities, including reading and sensory play
• Engage the baby through singing, talking, and interactive play
• Facilitate social interaction and learning through outings, classes, and play dates as the infant grows older
• Handle baby-related laundry and maintain organization of nursery and supplies.
• Assist with light household support related to the child, including tidying shared spaces.
• Helping around the house during naps, such as emptying the dishwasher, keeping the kitchen tidy, and taking out trash if needed, would be very appreciated
