About The Position
The Learning Experience – Billerica is hiring a Lead Infant Teacher to guide our youngest learners in a calm, loving, and developmentally supportive classroom. This role is perfect for an experienced early childhood educator who specializes in infant care and understands how critical the first year of life is for development.
Requirements
- MA Infant Teacher certification required
- Experience working in an infant classroom required
- Strong understanding of infant development and DAP
- CPR/First Aid preferred
Nice To Haves
- ECE degree or coursework preferred
- CPR/First Aid preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the infant classroom (6 weeks–12 months)
- Provide responsive care including feeding, diapering, sleep routines, and sensory play
- Create a nurturing, secure environment that supports early milestones
- Implement age-appropriate learning activities focused on bonding, movement, and communication
- Communicate daily with families about routines and development
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with all Massachusetts EEC regulations
