Responsibilities Calculates, prepares, and delivers human milk and infant formula based upon the provider’s order for all infants in the Special Care Nursery. Performs inventory, completes temperature/sanitation records and schedules, operates feeding preparation equipment, maintains proper sanitation policy and procedures in Infant Feeding Prep (IFP) area, and performs quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of basic math exam.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of Ohio State University: Infant Feeding Technician Certification Course within 2 years of hire date.
Responsibilities
