Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of Ohio State University: Infant Feeding Technician Certification Course within 2 years of hire date.
• Successful completion of basic math exam.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Calculates, prepares, and delivers human milk and infant formula based upon the provider’s order for all infants in the Special Care Nursery.
• Performs inventory, completes temperature/sanitation records and schedules, operates feeding preparation equipment, maintains proper sanitation policy and procedures in Infant Feeding Prep (IFP) area, and performs quality improvement activities.
