Requirements

• Experience working with infants or toddlers preferred
• AA in Early Childhood Education preferred or willingness to obtain a CDA within 6 months
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Ability to pass FBI, DOJ, and Child Abuse background checks
• Compassionate with children
• Reliable and dependable
• Eager to learn and grow
• Creative, energetic, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans for infants and toddlers
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Document children’s learning through photos, displays, and classroom materials
• Maintain positive daily communication with families
• Ensure compliance with childcare licensing standards
• Plan and implement curriculum aligned with Discovery Kidzone philosophy
• Post and maintain weekly lesson plans
• Collaborate with staff to maintain classroom organization and materials
