About The Position

As an Industry Sales Director you will lead team of Global Account Managers, resulting in sustained sales and market share growth for assigned products, solutions and services. You will drive the expansion of our ability to serve and grow revenue in the Warehouse and Logistics market. You will report to the Vice President - Industry Accounts and may work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visa, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • The ability to travel locally 50% of the time both domestically and internationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or Information Technology.
  • 5+ years experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or at an engineering firm; or a graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program.
  • 5+ years experience managing a sales team or leading distributors.
  • Prior experience working with all levels of an industrial automation plan include: vice presidents, plant engineers and OEM machine builders.
  • Global business, commercial or sales experience.
  • Executive presence and strong direct and indirect leadership skills.
  • Experience in building, leading, and operating in a high-performance organization.
  • Valid Passport.
  • Valid Drivers License.

Responsibilities

  • Lead of team of 5 Global Account Managers and be responsible for their development and performance.
  • Provide Sales Guidance to Globally Strategic Accounts (End User & OEM).
  • Ensure Account Plans & Strategies are developed, and goals are achieved.
  • Develop executive relationships with strategic customers positioning Rockwell Automation as a lead partner at the account.
  • Improve Rockwell Automation's global profile Warehouse and Logistics with thought leadership in engagement with industry and trade associations and speaking engagement at industry events.
  • Collaborate with our Global OEM Segments, Marketing organizations, and Teams, to develop our go-to-market and sales strategy Warehouse and Logistics.
  • Help define both Industry & OEM Strategic Plans (BSR) to include KPIs, DoWs, long term needs, opportunities and investments, by participating with the respective Global Industry resources.
  • Establish extended team(s) of subject matter experts, segment advocates & business unit resources to drive execution of strategic initiatives & growth objectives.
  • Engage with partners across Rockwell Automation in identifying portfolio and capability gaps and propose solutions (organic and inorganic) that would enhance our ability to serve.
  • Clearly articulate the qualitative and quantitative value of our suite of offerings (including those of our Partners), at all levels, especially executive, to our client organizations.
