About The Position

Infosys is seeking an Industry Principal SAP MM Consultant. As a Industry Principal in large global SAP transformation programs, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and make recommendations. You will create detailed design and architecture, and process artifacts, implement the solution and the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 13 years of experience with Information Technology. The location for this position is for Richardson, TX in the USA. This position may require travel and/or relocation Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Preferred Qualifications At least 11 years of experience in SAP MM module including 2 S/4 HANA full life cycle project implementation. Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution Strong hands-on experience in Logistics Execution, EDI/Idoc Integration and system integration areas. Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2b Integration and system to system integration of SAP through EDI/IDOC and other interface methods is essential Extensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces and user exits is essential Experience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirable Ability to read ABAP codes is required. Writing of functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements Testing and rollout of the final product Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously Be skilled in working with cross-functional teams Good Analytical and Communication skills Good Planning and Co-ordination skills The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
