About The Position

Job Family Overview Manage a portfolio of accounts in a geographic region with accountability for sales through delivery and business success as measured by sales, revenue, and profitability. Support client relationships and work with account leads and key region stakeholders to increase client satisfaction. Oversee the team members assigned to portfolio . Ensure your client's most pressing and long-term business challenges are met with Avanade’s most relevant GTM motions. Job Overview As an Industry Group Lead you will manage specific Resources accounts within a Client Group with accountability for sales through delivery and business success as measured by sales, revenue, and profitability. You will work with account leads and key region stakeholders to increase client satisfaction. You will report to the Client Group Lead and if there is a Client Group Service Team assigned to the Portfolio, you will oversee the assigned team members. Your goal will be to ensure the success of the Industry Portfolio by meeting your client's most pressing and long-term business challenges with Avanade’s most relevant GTM motions.

Requirements

  • Deep Resources/ Utilities industry experience in the relevant industry and track record in market/strategy development and execution.
  • Proven record of building, positioning, selling, and delivering industry-centric use-cases, value propositions and solutions.
  • Strong business management with responsibility for multi-million-dollar portfolios of business.
  • Leadership track record in developing and growing long term , high value client relationships.
  • Ability to effectively lead, team with, and influence peers in a large, matrixed organization.
  • See future possibilities and can translate them into breakthrough strategies.
  • Understand client business needs and how to recommend the best fit technology solutions.
  • Result-oriented mindset, with ability to achieve them even under tough circumstances.
  • Skills in maneuvering comfortably through complex policies, processes and people-related organizational dynamics.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft portfolio of products and solutions is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership and Growth Deliver revenue growth and market penetration focused on both Direct and Indirect.
  • Advance the organization’s goals by applying business/marketplace knowledge.
  • Drive sales excellence and productivity, increasing pipeline quality, win rates, aggregate business development efficiency and yield.
  • Engage with Accenture and Microsoft counterparts to define the space, strategy and resource allocation across both channels.
  • Build strong customer relationships.
  • Grow accounts through qualification and segmentation, increasing the number and size of MVC and Growth accounts.
  • Act on Voice of Client feedback and foster an exceptional client experience.
  • Operational Performance and Delivery Excellence Partner with key internal stakeholders to drive revenue diversity of GTM.
  • Contribute to broader Client Groups / industry expertise globally.
  • Responsible for sales and revenue forecast .
  • Assess and manage the opportunity and risk associated with large scale, complex projects.
  • Market Strategy Leverage knowledge of the industry portfolio to develop and implement an effective market strategy in support of business objectives and targets.
  • Target optimum clients in support of business strategy supported by high-quality account plans, integrating offerings, assets and direct sales.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to ensure clients can access the full breadth of Avanade’s GTM portfolio.
  • People & Culture Engage and develop high performing people.
  • Oversee, mentor, develop and manage career and performance of people.
  • Model and embed Avanade’s culture and values.
