As an Industry Architect on the Industry and Data/AI Architect teams at Snowflake, you'll be a trusted technical partner who helps drive industry-specific data and AI transformation for customers and partners. Your goal is to help customers unlock measurable business value by adopting and building on Snowflake's AI Data Cloud. As an Industry Architect for the Advertising/Marketing Technology, Media, and Entertainment (AME) verticals, you’ll combine your deep expertise in these industries with modern AI and data architecture knowledge to guide customers and create data-driven and AI-powered solutions. You'll lead with an architectural vision that is anchored in persona-driven journeys and help win new business through your combination of technology and industry leadership. You'll report to the Director of Industry Architects and work closely with the AME Industry Go-to-Market (GTM) POD team to co-own account strategy and execution.
Requirements
- 10+ years of architecture experience building, consulting to, or implementing technology for advertising, media, and/or entertainment companies with experience working directly on adtech and martech platforms a plus.
- Deep expertise in the AME industry, with an excellent understanding of data topics and challenges related to content creation, distribution, ad-tech, mar-tech, and consumer engagement.
- Strong knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and their application in the AME industry.
- Broad range of experience with technical and design direction including large-scale database and/or data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics and public cloud technologies
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python with hands-on experience is required. Experience in Java, Scala, or other languages is a plus
- 3+ years of Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure or GCP) customer facing architecture development experience
- Experience in a customer-facing role, with outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- The ability to act as a trusted advisor and establish credibility with senior leadership and enterprise architects.
- The ability to travel to customer sites and industry events as required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers on strategic opportunities: You will drive customer engagement in strategic deals where your industry expertise can help drive Snowflake adoption. You’ll build trusted relationships with executives and enterprise data architects at customer organizations, acting as a trusted advisor who blends business and technical context to advance opportunities.
- Innovate and design solutions: Working with the Industry GTM team, you'll translate AME use cases, challenges, and opportunities into data-driven and AI-powered solutions and architecture. This includes creating end-to-end architectures and future-state blueprints, demo showcases that embed AI/ML and agentic flows into solutions for the AME industry.
- Drive repeatability and scale: You'll lead strategic initiatives by building repeatable solution assets and frameworks that can be leveraged for global adoption. Your deliverables will include persona use case journeys and system/application architecture, demo showcases that integrate Snowflake into a customer's broader solutions portfolio and ecosystem. You'll also scale your expertise through field enablement and by creating workshops and playbooks.
- Influence the product roadmap: Act as a conduit to the product teams, providing structured feedback based on industry needs and customer requirements to help shape Snowflake's product roadmap.
- Be a thought leader: Drive technical thought leadership for the AME industries through blogs, talks, and field enablement. You will also be a key contributor to industry marketing activities including webinars and conferences.
