About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (verification required).
• Access to export-controlled items is necessary, and candidates must meet eligibility criteria.
• 3+ months of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment.
• Availability for all shifts (including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekend shift) is necessary.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends is required as schedules may vary based on operational needs; flexibility is essential.

Nice To Haves

• Prior X-ray or radiology experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret customer specifications.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Successfully pass Level 1 exams after three months of in-house training.
• Set up and operate X-ray units to capture X-rays of metal castings to detect internal defects as per customer specifications.
• Load film cassettes, process, and sort X-ray film.
• Operate densitometers to verify film densities.
• Develop proficiency to move into Level II roles, gaining the necessary experience and training while working on shifts.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision, including supporting Level II Inspectors and learning to interpret X-ray images.
