About The Position

Set up, understand and proficiently operate all welding equipment. Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems. ID and tag shop orders with the product. Retrieve/enter data into the system. Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts. Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently. Weld components based on print specifications. Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product

Requirements

Working knowledge of weld operations, including MIG, TIG of stainless steel and/or aluminum
A minimum of one (1) year MIG and TIG welding
A High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.
Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Minimum of 2 years MIG/TIG Welding
Minimum of one (1) year utilizing blueprints (AWS weld symbols) and using simple measuring tools
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs.
Ability to stand for eight hours plus and perform repetitious tasks
Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools
Ability to follow directions, work independently, and close attention to detail
Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate¬
Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays, as needed by the business
