The primary responsibilities of this role, IT & O Key Acct Mgr, are to: Key account management responsibilities with sales revenue of +$40M with assigned accounts. Identify and deliver incremental sales opportunities across Bayer’s IT&O business each year. Responsible for developing and managing annual business plan including annual and monthly sales forecasting by product SKU, expense budgeting, monitoring and coordinating multiple incentive programs with assigned accounts. Coordinate with supply chain to support all distributor account forecasted needs across the IT&O business. Responsible for strategic and operational planning to support the business objectives and long-term direction. Communicate and coordinate with other BCS business and functional leads for the purpose of developing cooperative business approaches. Ensure the full compliance with Bayer policies and management tools. Handle special project for the IT&O business as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree;
  • Experience in solutions based sales based upon customer need identification.
  • Experience in managing and interpreting highly technical data and information.
  • Ability to develop, implement and direct an operating budget and driving to achieve sales goals for the assigned accounts.
  • A complete understanding of account P&L’s and what elements drive impact on net income.
  • Strong analytical, influence and innovative negotiation skills; capable of building strategic relations.
  • The ability to plan, manage and organize the completion of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fosters teamwork among other functional teams within Bayer CropScience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel >50% of the time and preferably near a major airport;
  • Valid Driver’s license and eligibility to drive a company car (driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers and MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening).
