About The Position

The first community college established in Arkansas, Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA) is a multi-campus, two-year college serving Eastern Arkansas. Requirements

  • Able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekends.
  • Strong organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Pre-employment Screening Requirements: Criminal Background Check, Motor Vehicle Reports Check
  • Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology or engineering technology is preferred.
  • Prior teaching or training experience preferred.
  • Industry maintenance certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Development and delivery of manufacturing/processing credit and non-credit training programs that may include plant automation, mechanical systems maintenance, industrial safety, pump maintenance, hydraulics/pneumatics, welding, industrial electricity, industrial supervision, programmable logic controllers, etc.
  • Performs other related responsibilities as required.
