The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery, automation systems, and facility equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveying, and automation systems to ensure equipment meets operational, safety, and regulatory standards. The technician supports daily production goals by minimizing downtime, identifying root causes of equipment issues, and implementing effective solutions. Responsibilities may range from routine maintenance and repairs to advanced diagnostics, system improvements, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong adherence to safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA, USDA, and company policies. Depending on experience and assignment, the technician may work independently or collaboratively, support multiple facilities, mentor junior technicians, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and contribute to maintenance planning, documentation, and long-term asset reliability strategies. This position operates in a fast-paced industrial environment and requires flexibility to respond to equipment failures, emergencies, and evolving operational needs.
