About The Position

Allmine Paving, LLC is seeking an Industrial Technician at our Inwood, West Virginia facility. The Industrial Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment in the plant using preventative and predictive maintenance strategies in accordance with TAMKO Reliability standards. The Industrial Technician will both respond to notifications of equipment malfunctions and, using condition-monitoring inspections, diagnose problems with equipment. They will plan, prepare, and execute maintenance work in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner. Summary of Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Learn the plant processes and become a process expert. Be able to fill in for an Asphalt Processing Technician when necessary. Learn, use, and advocate for the implementation of TAMKO Reliability processes in all areas of plant maintenance. Perform Condition Monitoring inspections using iPad applications and diagnostic tools including, but not limited to, ultrasonic analyzers, vibration analyzers, infrared temperature probes and cameras, alignment tools, and other measuring devices. Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment, including replacing belts, lubricating bearings, and changing packing in pumps. Write detailed notifications in SAP for maintenance requirements detected while performing any of the duties listed herein. Write detailed Standard Work Plans in SAP for work orders that comply with TAMKO Reliability standard. Review SWPs after completion of work and update them as necessary to reflect learnings or feedback from others. Accurately estimate time requirements for work. Accurately track the time you spend working on projects and record it in SAP. Execute maintenance on equipment using world-class precision maintenance processes. Work safely at heights of over 40 feet using fall protection. Work safely in confined spaces where residues of asphalt, oil, or other materials may be present. Properly utilize Hot Work Permits, Lock-Out-Tag-Out, and Confined Space Entry Forms when required. Properly and safely weld a variety of metals both in the shop and in the field. After completing a work order, immediately clean up all tools, parts, and trash and dispose of it properly. Maintain the Maintenance Building and your work area in a clean, organized manner. Be a member of Six Sigma project teams and other process improvement teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Processing Technical degrees preferred.
  • At least five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong computer and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP Maintenance transactions and processes preferred.
