Full-time faculty at Central Carolina Community College facilitate transformative lifelong learning by incorporating discipline-specific learning outcomes through active learning opportunities, lectures, hands-on skill development, assignments, and appropriate classroom management. Faculty provide authentic student assessment that allows students to improve their knowledge and skills with each assignment. Faculty focus on student success by establishing meaningful connections with students early in the semester to support the varying needs of each student throughout the semester. The Industrial Systems Instructor will play a key role in the launch and delivery of a new evening-only Industrial Systems program designed to expand workforce training access for non-traditional students and working adults. This full-time faculty position includes evening teaching responsibilities and may require occasional Saturday instruction, particularly during the program's startup phase. The instructor will contribute to curriculum development, instruction, and program planning to ensure a high-quality learning experience that aligns with industry standards. Because the college serves a multi-campus region across a three-county service area, this position may require regular travel between campus locations to meet instructional and program coordination needs. A flexible and student-centered approach is essential. The Industrial Systems Technology Instructor will be based at the Lee Main Campus and will teach courses in the evening and weekend Industrial Systems Diploma program. This position will begin in January 2026 and will include additional responsibilities related to launching the program in Fall 2026. Salary depends on education and experience. Associate Degree salary range: $58,293 - $68,244 Bachelor's Degree salary range: $61,761 - $72,229 Master's Degree salary range: $64,839 - $75,043 Doctorate Degree salary range: $69,275 - $79,243 This position is eligible for a $5000 hiring bonus to be paid out in three installments. Please include unofficial copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts. Will be required to submit official copies of transcripts before the start date. This position may have occasional travel between campuses and for training. Occasional after hours may be required. This position requires face to face teaching.
