Industrial Systems Engineer
About The Position
In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. The Fremont lab operations team is expanding and transforming Lam's R&D labs to meet new business needs and to continue to provide a safe, customer-trusted, and efficient lab environment, with a look-ahead to lab automation. This hire will work on lab improvement projects to achieve operational business goals and serve lab users within Lam's various business units. This role will apply problem solving, project management, and Six Sigma methodologies to develop new systems, improve existing services, and enhance execution efficiency for the lab communities.
Requirements
- BS engineering or science major with minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Software programming skills required
- Team player with good verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Automation/robotics related experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering knowledge to determine lab improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement lab improvement solutions.
- Coordinate testing and collect lab user feedback on system usability and performance.
- Analyze data and create metrics for lab process or system performance.
- Lead projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Present in lab operation or cross-functional meetings.
