About the position
Under the direction of the Supervising Dentist, Correctional Facility or the Prison Industries Superintendent II (Dental Laboratory), the Industrial Supervisor, Prison Industries (Dental Laboratory) is responsible for the production and the fabrication of prosthetic devices for inmates in a dental laboratory within a correctional facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the production and fabrication of dental prosthetic devices.
- Lead and supervise entry-level staff or inmates in the dental laboratory.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in the laboratory.
- Maintain cooperative working relationships within the department and with external partners.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in the fabrication of dental prosthetic products.
- One year of experience in a lead capacity over entry-level staff or inmates.
- Education such as trade school or vocational education may substitute for experience.
