About The Position

T2 has partnered with a well-established and busy General Contractor with projects in Phoenix, AZ. The Industrial Superintendent runs crews or projects of 5,000 to 8,000 man hours per month, working with the Project Manager to provide technical leadership and coordination. This role oversees scheduling, safety, layout, productivity, communication, materials, tools, quality control, and close-out. The Superintendent is responsible for reviewing and implementing contract documents including plans, specifications, schedules, and estimates, as well as implementing Project Strategy documents. They will review P-3 schedule logic, activities, and durations, and update the Project Coordinator. The position ensures work is within contract scope and properly staffed, coordinating installation plans, personnel, and daily activities. Maintaining strong team morale, enforcing accountability, and managing field employees (hiring, discipline, and replacement with PM approval) are also key responsibilities. The Superintendent monitors labor reports weekly, implements corrective actions, conducts weekly safety meetings, and maintains compliance documentation. Additionally, they are responsible for field testing per company policy and specifications, layout coordination with other trades, resolving field issues, and reviewing foreman paperwork before Project Manager submission. The role involves direct supervision of supervisors and indirect responsibility for up to 50 employees across projects.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of documented work in electrical commercial or industrial construction
  • At least 5 years supervisory experience
  • Minimum of one year as Supervisor III
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to supervise and develop teams
  • Adaptability to project scope
  • Knowledge of NEC and electrical systems
  • Proven electrical installation expertise
  • Completed multiple projects from start to finish
  • Completion of leadership training programs
  • Knowledge of superintendent duties and productivity management
