About The Position
The Industrial Sewer is responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to assemble, stitch, and finish products according to company specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines (single-needle, double-needle, serger, or specialty machines) to assemble products.
- Read and follow work orders, patterns, and production specifications.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain consistent stitching, proper tension, and alignment.
- Trim threads, replace needles, and perform minor machine adjustments.
- Identify defects or quality issues and report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Meet established production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed.
