About The Position
Heritage-Crystal Clean (HCC) is a leader in the environmental services industry, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated Industrial Services Project Manager to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This full-time position is essential for providing service of approved waste streams at HCC customer locations. The successful candidate will operate a Class A Vacuum Truck and will frequently work with hoses, waste storage units, trenches, and sub-terrain holding chambers. This role is dedicated solely to bulk customers that are serviced directly from HCC Wastewater Treatment Facilities. The Industrial Services Project Manager will be responsible for promoting safe work behaviors in alignment with HCC safety guidelines. Customer service is a key component of this role, as the manager will be assigned a specific geographic area to oversee. The position requires the alignment of work orders to minimize mileage and travel time, ensuring efficient service delivery. Additionally, the manager will inspect vehicles and equipment for safe operation, provide vacuuming services to customers, and complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly. Compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements is mandatory, and the manager will be expected to achieve sales quotas for total revenue and new customer development. This position also involves adhering to corporate policies and standards, including environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, as well as human resources, facility, equipment, operations, and maintenance protocols. The Industrial Services Project Manager will perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of HCC and its commitment to providing exceptional service to its customers.
