About The Position

IEG is seeking skilled Industrial Service Electricians—either Journeymen or Apprentices with at least three years of industrial electrical experience. This is a full‑time, direct‑hire, locally based role with some travel required, but it is not strictly a traveling electrician position. We are looking for dependable professionals capable of working independently and excelling in fast‑paced industrial environments.

Requirements

Able to work with minimal supervision
Highly technical and versatile
Comfortable handling multiple tasks and priorities
Experienced in industrial environments
Capable of training and mentoring newer electricians
Solid understanding of NEC Code
Solid understanding of running electrical jobs of varying sizes
Solid understanding of feeder sizing requirements
Solid understanding of tooling needs for industrial projects
Solid understanding of PPE requirements and electrical safety practices
Solid understanding of lighting systems, transformers, motor controls, and switchboards
Proficient in electrical wiring
Proficient in threading, bending, and installing EMT and rigid conduit (½"–4")
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ERP systems
Proficient in applying mathematical skills for electrical calculations
Proficient in reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Willingness to relocate to the local branch if needed
Willingness to travel up to 25%
