About The Position
Industrial Security Specialist Key Role: Performs a wide range of functions to ensure the protection of company and government-sensitive and classified information. Applies specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance. May review or guide the activities of more junior employees.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Industrial Security
- Experience as a CSSO or A/CSSO
- Experience in database functions, including DISS, eQIP, or PeopleSoft
- Knowledge of the NISPOM Rule, DCIDs or ICDs, SCI, COMSEC, and government security directives
- Knowledge of clearance processing, doc control, physical security, including closed areas and SCIFs, Automated Information System security, and SATE
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Completion of DSS Academy FSO Course or CSSO Training
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of security disciplines, such as Information, Physical, and COMSEC, and their relationship to PERSEC
- Ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences
- Ability to work in a team
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of DSS, Personnel Security Management, and Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication Courses
