Join our team as an Industrial Security Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in supporting activities within the Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) Facilities Security Officer team. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
• 1+ years of experience working with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations manual (NISPOM) and in NISP related security programs
• Are you willing and able to travel domestically 5% of the time
• This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
• 3+ years of experience as assistant or alternate FSO
• DoD Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Assists with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
• Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action
• Assists Facility Security Officer (FSO) with basic duties and special projects
• Assists in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures
• Assists in developing and conducting security awareness training and education programs to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information
