About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for an Industrial Security Senior Manager to join the Enterprise Classified Security team in Arlington, VA. This senior manager position is dedicated to overseeing a team of policy, governance and training experts – strategically necessary to implement controls and mitigate risks associated with non-compliance with federal laws and policy. This manager will provide expert oversight to specialists developing classified security and cybersecurity policies and enterprise security education, training, and awareness programs. The manager will be responsible for ensuring trend analysis received from compliance assessments is incorporated into Boeing policies to close gaps in security. The manager will liaise with government and industry security representatives to collectively improve protection policies and procedures in support of mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and overseeing implementation of security policies to include Yankee White access policy and procedures
  • 5+ years of experience in leading teams and team development
  • Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
  • 5+ years of security-related work experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCI
  • 5+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense or Aerospace environment
  • 5+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor employees performing security administration activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, conducting security inquiries, overseeing compliance assessments implementation security controls protecting personnel, information and equipment
  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company program operations
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Assist with team members' professional development and growth
