Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to join the Rancho Carmel, San Diego security team to support a fast-paced environment; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Administers all classified information ensuring it is properly safeguarded, personnel security clearances are maintained, and aides the AFSO to maintain compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) government security requirements. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Industrial Security or relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 0 years with a Master's; OR an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
• Current Active SECRET with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have the ability to work 1st Shift 9/80 or 4/10 schedule

• Working knowledge of DoD programs to provide procedural and policy guidance

• Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Computer and desktop office software products experience
• Classification review experience
• Self-starter with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Review and verify personnel security clearances, incoming and outgoing visit certifications
• Administers procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to records and materials
• Maintains a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program
• Maintains security tasks associated with Classified, Closed and Restricted Areas
• Investigates security incidents and prepares reports to submit to CSA personnel
• Adheres to required security documentation to include OPSEC plans, CONOPS, SOPs, desktop instructions, and more
• Maintains accountability of classified material or classified media as required by contract(s)
• Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities
