About The Position

The Industrial Sales Support role provides critical operational and administrative support to the Industrial Commercial Account Managers, enabling efficient execution of sales activities and exceptional customer service. This position plays a key role in coordinating sales processes, managing customer orders, supporting field operations, and maintaining accurate data within Salesforce. The role serves as a central liaison between sales, operations, and customers to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ year of administrative, sales support, or related experience
  • Locals only (must live within 60 miles)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing or operational environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment, including knowing when to escalate issues
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to interpret data, reports, and operational information to support decision-making

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting industrial, fuel, lubricant, or field service-based operations
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Knowledge of fuel distribution, logistics, or industrial services industries

Responsibilities

  • Support Industrial Commercial Account Managers with day-to-day sales and account management activities
  • Prepare and submit quotes for industrial services, including oil filtration projects
  • Coordinate job execution logistics, including scheduling personnel, equipment, and service timelines
  • Process customer orders (fuel, lubricants, tanks, and related services) accurately and timely
  • Obtain, create, and manage purchase orders to support customer and operational needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity data in Salesforce
  • Proactively identify potential sales opportunities within Salesforce and communicate to sales team for follow-up
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional responses
  • Coordinate with customers on delivery schedules, shipments, and service timelines
  • Collect, review, and validate job-related documentation to ensure billing readiness
  • Analyze tank and service reports to support monthly completion and customer requirements
  • Communicate customer feedback, market insights, and service opportunities to internal stakeholders
  • Escalate customer concerns or service issues appropriately to ensure resolution
  • Maintain tracking tools (spreadsheets, reports, dashboards) related to jobs, equipment, and sales activity
  • Provide phone coverage and general support to the Industrial/Plant Services team as needed
  • Attend product and sales training to enhance knowledge and support sales effectiveness
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, billing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Maintain regular, reliable attendance and engagement in on-site activities
  • Other related duties as assigned by manager
