About The Position

As the Industrial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Industrial Marine Sales business, associated product lines and designated staff specialists. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of the Marine equipment industry and and associated applications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the Marine Industrial Sales
  • Work closely with employees and other team members to generate leads for Marine Industrial products and identify opportunities for CAT/ Perkins equipment.
  • Work alongside Industrial Sales Specialist and Product Support Specialist in the field to teach and build a strong team atmosphere.
  • Attend manufacturer events and training, as required, in order to stay up to date on NPI’s.
  • Work closely with marketing team to effectively promote Industrial product lines to remain in compliance with manufacturer’s standards.
  • Spend time in the field with customers in order to sustain customer confidence with product offerings.
  • Communicate consistently and effectively with manufacturers to provide feedback that leads to machine quality improvements.
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.
