Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE 'Q' level security clearance.
• An associate degree in Industrial/Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of safety experience.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a 'Q' Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• A B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health (or related field) with 6+ years of experience.
• Background in Industrial Hygiene discipline.
• Proactive approach to identifying risks and creating practical, people-first solutions.
• Strong communication skills to train, influence, and inspire teams to live safety every day.
• Currently holding an active Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant personnel and contractors to spot, evaluate, and control workplace hazards.
• Lead safety trainings and guide pre-job briefs.
• Review work procedures to ensure compliance with industrial safety requirements.
• Conduct job hazard analyses and accident investigations.
• Manage injury reporting and compliance checks.
• Exercise 'stop work' authority when risks arise.
