About The Position

Join Clariant as an Industrial Room Operator within the Additives & Adsorbents Business Unit, supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, following process instructions, and ensuring products meet all quality specifications. You will perform routine machine adjustments, maintain accurate documentation and housekeeping standards, and comply with all safety and operational procedures. The role also supports team communication, training activities, and continuous improvement within the department.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience
Must be able to fluently read and write in English
Basic mathematical skills

Responsibilities

Read and review process order for specific instructions and specifications
Requires clear and legible documentation on all required in process forms
Operates bag and packet sealing machines
Able to lift up to 35lbs
Visually inspect material before packaging
Capable of reading and using a ruler
Monitor bag and packet quality in accordance to specifications and frequency requirements
Alerts technician of defective material
Make machine adjustments by using a variety of tools (wrenches, etc.)
Maintaining housekeeping on the machines and other areas within the department
Follow all department procedures
Abide by all Clariant rules and safety regulations
Communicates and reports issues to leadership
Must be able to make weight adjustments when needed
Able to run all available machines in the department efficiently
