We are currently seeking a skilled and well-rounded Industrial Refrigeration / HVAC Technician to join our team at our Hicksville, NY facility. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician to support critical systems and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Requirements

EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience (10+ years preferred)
Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience in a food manufacturing or industrial facility is preferred
Knowledge of desiccant dehumidifiers and familiarity with CMMS
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Willingness to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems across our facilities
Troubleshoot issues involving walk-in coolers/freezers, cooling tunnels, boilers, and related equipment
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure operational readiness
Respond promptly to work orders and service calls
Install, test, and repair HVAC-related systems and components
Track work completed, time, and materials; assist in SOP creation for recurring maintenance tasks
Interpret blueprints and ensure proper tools and materials are available for assigned tasks
