About The Position

The Industrial Quality Engineer / Technician is responsible for designing and deploying Quality Control Plans per manufacturing process to support an external demerit at 0 for Alstom Customer and the Zero Defect Program. This role is part of the RSC / D&IS/ SERVICE Industrial Quality organization and reports directly to the Industrial Quality manager. The position involves managing Industrial Quality activities in the relevant workshop, ensuring compliance of manufactured products, and participating in customer joint inspections.

Requirements

• Actively working towards an associate's degree or have obtained one.
• Processes knowledge on Quality and at industrial level.
• Welding experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical) or equivalent for PIQ.
• Associate degree for Technician (equivalent of BTS in France - 2 years technical degree after high school).
• 5 years of experience in Industrial.
• Project management or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Quality Control Plan per manufacturing process.
• Manage Industrial Quality activities in relevant workshop.
• Stop production in case of a defect that justifies mandatory rework.
• Participate or delegate customer joint inspections.
• Participate in process FMEA definition.
• Build, implement, and regularly update Quality Control Plans with REX of previous project execution.
• Ensure customer approval, document validation, and compliance of manufactured products before shipping.
• Perform Line Quality Animation with cross-functional teams.
• Perform inspections of products, including customer joint inspections.
• Manage problem solving and record inspection results in industrial tools.
• Perform first characterization and manage NCR's for non-compliant products.
• Support manufacturing teams regarding self-inspection and delegation of control.
