About The Position

A Quality Inspector, or QA Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests, and identifying defects that would affect the final product.

Requirements

Possesses a positive attitude with a “Lead by Example” work ethic.
Must be able to spend most of the day standing and or moving around the shop as required.
Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

Reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements.
Measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications.
Running quality tests.
Identifying defects that would affect the final product.
Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
Perform other tasks within reasonable exertion limits to assist other shop personnel in special circumstances.
Be conscious of supporting and adding value to all business processes.
Be reactive in line with re-prioritization as and when required.
Understand the needs of both our external and internal customers while maintaining company values.
