What you’ll do Serve as a global expert for customers using industrial diaphragm and piston pumps, electric pumps, pneumatic valves and cylinders, pneumatic logic, and air prep systems (filters, regulators, lubricators). Provide end-to-end technical assistance: product selection, specification interpretation, installation guidance, maintenance know-how, and advanced troubleshooting. Resolve field issues—coordinate repairs or replacements and raise escalations through our Quality Management System when appropriate. Support commercial teams by reviewing and proofreading product catalogs and technical literature. Influence new product development with insights on serviceability, quality, and reliability. Deliver demonstrations, oversee setup/installation, and lead training for distributors, end users, and colleagues. Create training materials and knowledge base content that scales support. Exercise service-related decision-making authority on behalf of the company. Troubleshoot electronic controllers and interfaces tied to pneumatic diaphragm and electric pumps. Coach customers on safety practices for electrical/electronic and pneumatic systems. Guide startups and commissioning activities to a smooth handoff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of technical customer support or application engineering experience.
  • Customer service: You consistently exceed expectations.
  • Communication: You translate complex product details clearly across verbal, written, email, and chat channels.
  • Problem solving: You collaborate to identify root causes and act quickly.
  • Hands-on know‑how: You’re comfortable with pneumatic and electromechanical systems—remotely and onsite.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical/electronic components and applications.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and written procedures.
  • Ingersoll Rand certifications for Piston Pump, Diaphragm Pump, and Fluid Power.
  • Exposure to PLCs, IoT, and SCADA.
  • Spanish language skills.
