Join Foth as a Process Utilities Engineer, where you'll play a key role in delivering innovative utility solutions for industrial clients. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of process utility systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success. You'll help shape best practices, apply cutting-edge engineering approaches, and grow your expertise in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. The role will require approximately 25% travel. While we prefer that this individual work out of our Green Bay office, we are open to remote candidates as well as those located near any of our 30 office locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
  • 7+ years of experience with utility systems

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • Experience utilizing 3D design tools (Plant 3D, VR, and 3D Scans)
  • Industrial HVAC and Dust Control
  • Ability to travel as needed with anticipation of 25% annually

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other project disciplines to ensure integrated solutions
  • Prepare equipment specifications and technical documentation
  • Partner with clients, vendors, and suppliers to generate cost estimates and contribute to proposal development
  • Create mass and energy balances to support process design
  • Produce process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Compile equipment lists, line lists, and points of connection (POC) documentation
  • Define operational parameters and performance criteria
  • Work closely with designers to translate engineering concepts into drawings
  • Author installation scope documents for construction teams
  • Provide support during on-site construction and installation phases
  • Assist with system checkout and start-up activities
  • Mentor and coach junior team members as needed
  • Conduct on-site surveys to assess existing conditions
  • Travel as required, with an anticipated average of 25% annually
