About The Position

In this role, you will supervise engineers and technicians in providing technical support to production, including process support, robotics and automation tuning, programming and teaching, and the provision and maintenance of digital tools and processes. You will also develop new equipment, tooling, and processes to support new product launches, capacity changes, and production flexibility changes. Additionally, you will provide programming services for robots and cobots, improve their integration, and collaborate with the equipment maintenance function to ensure maximum longevity and effectiveness. You will develop and maintain factory digitalization tools for use by other functions and departments, instructing others on their use. Conducting time studies and analyses to improve operational efficiency through cycle reduction, material usage reduction, and process stabilization will also be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience in PLC programming and debugging.
• Experience in 6 axis robot programming.
• Experience managing product industrialization projects.
• Experience in factory digitalization including machine data acquisition and analysis.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
