Atlantic Constructors is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and career-minded Industrial Project Manager to join our expanding team! The Industrial Project Manager will provide overall project direction for ACI's Suffolk, VA Industrial Division, overseeing a portfolio of small to large-scale industrial construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves interfacing with construction professionals, cross-functional internal teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager will develop new business opportunities with preferred clients and work to enhance the overall customer experience. A successful ACI PM is a team leader who effectively measures, monitors, and controls all aspects of their projects to meet established performance goals. They possess the soft skills required to navigate the unique personalities present in the construction environment and overcome common challenges associated with large construction projects. Safety and quality are paramount, and the PM will drive the implementation of ACI's safety and quality programs across all projects. Essential functions include serving as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships, aligning project delivery with customer needs, and developing sound project execution plans. The PM will also identify, analyze, manage, and mitigate project risks, review and negotiate contract terms, and coordinate with internal departments and subcontractors to ensure project success. This role requires effective change control management, forecasting and tracking key account metrics, and preparing monthly internal reports summarizing project status. The PM will also ensure adherence to ACI quality construction standards and proper construction techniques.
