From design and manufacturing to on-site installation, our highly skilled team never stops striving to improve. As Industrial Pipe Inside Sales you will provide service to internal and external customers and inquiries in support of the sales activities for the company. This position will also follow up on leads and referrals.

  • Promote and maintain the highest possible customer relationships and satisfaction while making value-added recommendations and working toward future business relationships.
  • Work closely with internal teams and customers to develop new products or market opportunities. Follow up on defined opportunities aligning to quarterly and annual goals.
  • Responsible for a level of sales in support of the broader sales organization. This may include direct contact, phone, online or trade show generated leads.
  • Prepare price quotes and follow through the process with operations execution and customer delivery. Assist Account Executives as requested.
  • Participate in industry events such as trade shows, conferences, or other travel as required.
  • Prepare sales reports as needed. Provide regular reports on sales of assigned metrics.
  • Assist in forecasting customer demand for capacity planning.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues and track feedback.
  • May generate and/or verify pricing, discounts, and/or terms of the order, within established guidelines and manager approval.
  • Handle warranty claims, credits and follow up service per company policy.
  • Keep internal teams informed of competitive information gained regarding pricing, products, or general issues in the market.
  • Initiate and follow up on requests for product samples and/or sales literature.
  • Follow up on customer questions, requests, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keeps informed of new developments, methods, and techniques in the sales profession.
  • Demonstrates the Viaflex Team Member Values in their daily actions.
  • May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
  • Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. 5+ years of related experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Capability to build and maintain relationships that establish trust and create value.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, providing enhancement of sales abilities.
  • Ability to consider the client, competition, and Viaflex, when evaluating opportunities.
  • Aptitude to create value propositions to address the client’s needs, both known and unknown.
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
  • May travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check required.
