About The Position

The Industrial Parts Clerk at DXP is responsible for managing inventory and fulfilling customer orders in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role emphasizes accuracy in order picking, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols, contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of mechanical and industrial parts/products
  • Effective communication skills with the on-site SCS team
  • 6 months of related experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Familiarity with SAP and personal computers, including mouse, scanner, and keyboard

Responsibilities

  • Picking customer orders based on demand
  • Verifying order accuracy
  • Accounting for inventory and resolving discrepancies
  • Receiving shipments and stocking inventory accurately
  • Following safety procedures
  • Conducting cycle counts as generated by the warehouse management system
  • Recording transaction data in the warehouse management system
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Performing other activities as directed by the Site Manager
