We are seeking an experienced Second-Shift Painter to apply high-quality finishes in accordance with MIL-SPEC paint standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with polyurethane paints and epoxy coatings in a manufacturing or industrial production environment. This role is essential in ensuring our components meet strict industry, customer, and government requirements.

Requirements

  • High School (High school diploma) or GED
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace painting.
  • Hands-on experience with MIL-SPEC paint systems.
  • Proficiency with polyurethane paints, epoxy coatings, and related application methods.
  • Ability to operate spray guns, mixing systems, and other painting tools.
  • Strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to work safely with chemicals, solvents, and PPE.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Apply paint finishes to components using spray equipment, following MIL-SPEC and internal quality standards.
  • Mix, prepare, and apply polyurethane paints, epoxy coatings, and primers.
  • Inspect surfaces and finished parts for defects, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and process sheets.
  • Maintain paint equipment, spray booths, and mixing areas to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
  • Record materials used, and processes completed in accordance with documentation requirements.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control procedures.
