We are seeking an Industrial Painter/Heavy Hose Blaster to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for blasting steel parts prior to fabrication and completion. You will need to mix paint according to the manufacturer's instructions and apply coatings using various spray systems. The position requires operating equipment such as blast pots and spray guns, as well as cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting using air-powered sandblasting equipment. A strong understanding of different painting methods and applications is essential, along with the ability to use a mill gauge. You will also be responsible for disassembling and cleaning paint and sandblasting equipment, ensuring that the required profile is met, and following production schedules while adhering to company policies and procedures. Additionally, you will need to operate a forklift and overhead crane as part of your duties.
