About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards.
Apply paint and other coatings to various surfaces, including preparing parts by cleaning, sanding, and repairing defects as needed.
Inspect parts for quality, including weld integrity, surface imperfections, and overall finish.
Mix paints to match specified colors and operate equipment such as paint sprayers, sanders, and sandblasters.
Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) and perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
Maintain a clean work area and ensure good housekeeping practices.
Assist in other departments as temporarily assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training
• Ability to maintain tools, equipment, and work area
• Skill in distinguishing quality paint jobs
• Commitment to efficiency, quality, and safety standards

Nice To Haves

• Prior painting experience preferred
