Our Packaging Mechanics are core to our success and work hands-on each day to assure that our packaging equipment is running at peak efficiency. Fluent knowledge of high-speed bagging (VFFS & SUP) and combination scales + the integration of the two systems Extensive knowledge of wire components, electrical and mechanical systems

Requirements

High school diploma or State issued Equivalency
5 or more years as a journeyman/journeywoman packaging mechanic preferred
Fluent knowledge of high-speed bagging (VFFS & SUP) and combination scales + the integration of the two systems
Extensive knowledge of wire components, electrical and mechanical systems
Mechanical aptitude and dexterity

Responsibilities

Maintain packaging equipment in performance ready operation to meet or exceed operational standards
Rapid diagnosis of issues
Maintain preventative maintenance schedule
Ability to work well under pressure
